EHR Data Use Disclosure

This disclosure explains patient-directed EHR imports, read-only access, record storage, and sharing controls.

Effective Date: April 21, 2026 Last Updated: April 21, 2026

This disclosure explains how Talo 360 uses health record data when you connect an Epic/MyChart account or another supported electronic health record source.

Patient-Directed Access

Talo 360 only requests EHR access when you choose to connect a supported provider account and complete the provider authorization flow. You should connect only accounts you are legally authorized to access, including your own account or an account for a dependent or family member where you have appropriate authority.

Read-Only Import

Talo 360 uses read-only access for EHR imports. The app is designed to import and organize selected chart information, such as visits, medications, allergies, conditions, immunizations, lab results, vital signs, diagnostic report metadata, and document metadata.

Talo 360 does not write information back to Epic/MyChart through this integration.

No Medical Advice

Talo 360 is an organizational tool. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, triage, treatment recommendations, medication recommendations, or clinician decision support.

Always verify important medical information with the original provider, health system, or a qualified healthcare professional.

Storage and Retention

Imported EHR information may be stored in Talo 360 so you can view it later, organize it by person, prepare for visits, and use supported sharing features.

Disconnecting an EHR connection stops future syncs from that source, but previously imported data may remain in Talo 360 unless you delete it or request deletion according to our Privacy Policy.

Documents and Attachments

For the initial Epic/MyChart integration, Talo 360 is designed to import document metadata where available. Full provider document, image, or binary attachment storage is not part of the initial EHR launch unless specifically enabled later.

Sharing

You control whether to share information from Talo 360. If you create an emergency or ICE sharing link, anyone with that link may be able to view the emergency information made available through that link until the link is revoked or expires.

Third-Party Sources

EHR data comes from third-party healthcare provider systems. Talo 360 does not control provider system availability, data completeness, data timing, account access rules, or provider-side corrections.
